Vah Isaac Tukpah, former CDC-USA Chairman, and President Weah are not in a good place right now.  The news of the President ignoring his once right-hand-man has being circulating for a while.  The Liberian Billboard just dropped an article stating the reasons behind the fallout.  According to the article,  Vah Isaac Tukpah is being ignored by the President because of multiple incidents of disrespect and status-challenge. At one point, Mr. Tukpah not aware that the President was on a conference call, sarcastically criticized and demeaned the President. A source told the Liberian Billboard that Mr. Tukpah on several occasions have openly criticize some of his colleagues in the party, and acts pompous while exhibiting disrespect to even the President. These are the reason Mr. Tukpah and few others who the President feel are aligned with him have not been appointed in the government, as the President does not take disrespect or power challenge lightly.  Hon. Munah Pelham-Youngblood who just returned to work from her sick bed, is extremely upset over the appointment of Mr. Bobby Whitfield.  She is not upset that he was appointed, but the principle behind his appointment.  Hon. Pelham-Youngblood was originally task by the president to recommend two names for  Executive Director and Chairman of  Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Commission. However, Hon. Pelham-Youngblood delayed the recommendation due to her illness, until her return to the country. According to the Liberian Billboard, while Hon. Pelham-Youngblood was outside the country, Hon. Thomas Fallah and Saah Joseph bypassed her and went to the President with recommendations, insisting that it was urgent that he appoint officials at the Commission, since the Act establishing the commission has just recently been passed into law.
