Kobazzie  Amidst speculation that Davido is about to sign Liberia's Afro-Pop hitmaker, Kobazzie, the artist has clarified that he is not aware and is not informed about any deal from the Nigerian mega star.  He did admitted to being grateful and term it as a welcoming news, if he affix his signature to such deal. Kobazzie said that it will come as a surprise if Davido signs him. He lamented that he's open to accept such offer as it will serve as a big blow up to Liberia music industry and his career.  Meanwhile the artist is expected to drop a song addressing sexual assault and awareness to stop rape in Liberia.

Liberia: Stone Luckshine Asked for Removal from Liberia Music Awards Nomination List

 Liberian Producer, Stone Luckshine who w as just nominated for the Liberia Music Awards is asking  the Liberia Music Awards (LMA) to remove him from their nomination list, because his work was not nominated for Best Song of the Year, but he was nominated for Best Producer of the Year.    Within the last year, Stone Luckshine produced, Go Down and Feelings by Pck n Lfrankie, Don't Put me there by Soulfresh,Check mark by Kobazzie ft Stunna, Love by Kobazzie n DenG, Grateful by DenG, Red Bank by Soulfresh, Janjay-DenG ft Sarkodie, among others. Liberia: Mike Elliott - New Mayor in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota

Mayor Mike Elliott  Mike Elliott, a small-business owner and community activist, defeated Brooklyn Center Mayor Tim Willson in his second try for the seat in four years. Elliott will be the first person of color to serve as the city’s mayor. The race was a rematch of the 2014 contest, when Willson edged out Elliott by 145 votes. Willson has held the office for 12 years. Elliott, who was born in Liberia, said residents in the rapidly diversifying city of 31,000 were ready for change. More than half the residents of Brooklyn Center are people of color.

After weeks afloat on Lake Ray Hubbard, fundraiser reaches goal of $2.3 million to help Liberians

Todd Phillips  After spending nearly a month on the waves of Lake Ray Hubbard, Todd Phillips is coming home. Phillips, 49, set out Oct. 10 with a steep goal: He would live on a barge on the lake until he raised $2.29 million for his nonprofit, The Last Well, which aims to provide clean water for all of Liberia by 2020. Four weeks later, Phillips’ barge was towed Tuesday morning to the shore of The Harbor, a shopping center in Rockwall, where he was met with cheers from his wife and a team of supporters. Each night since he set foot on the barge in October, Phillips had done a nightly Facebook Live broadcast. He'd update followers on how he was doing, and his supporters would pledge donations in the comments. MTN-Liberia, LBDI launch mobile money partnership

MTN Liberia Liberian operator Lonestar Cell MTN (MTN-Liberia) and the Liberian Bank for Development and Investment (LBDI) have signed a partnership agreement to oficially launched a mobile money programme. The partnership will enable mobile money subscribers and agents across Liberia to perform mobile money transactions such as cash-in and cash-out, bill payments at any LBDI branch

Liberia Name Squad For Warriors Clash

Liberia National Soccer Team Lone Star Liberia have named their squad for the 2019 Afcon Qualifier against Zimbabwe. The game will be played on November 18 in the west African nation. Liberia Withdraws from Amputee Football World Cup - Find Out Why

 Angola have won the 2018 Amputee Football World Cup in Mexico, beating Turkey 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out in Sunday's final. The match ended 0-0 after normal time, and the deadlock could not be broken in extra-time. The deciding shoot-out proved just as tense with both teams scoring from their first four penalties. At 4-4, Angola's goalkeeper, Jesus, made a crucial save to deny Turkey. The African team, who finished as runners-up at the last World Cup, sealed their championship victory thanks to a winning spot-kick from Henio Guilerme. Nigeria and Kenya also represented Africa at the Amputee Football World Cup. Kenya made it through to the knock-out phase for the first time, eventually losing to Russia in the last sixteen. Nigeria's Special Eagles failed to make the second round, after two defeats and one victory in the group phase. C.I.C, Stunna and Kobazzie The Liberia Music Awards has announced nominees for its 2018 Annual Music Awards. The ceremony will take place December in Liberia. Leading the nominations is Liberian superstar CIC, who's been fiercely globalizing Kolloque-flavored music. He is up for seven Liberia Music awards, including songs "Weekend" (with Iyanya) and "Hello" (feat. Joey) for Song of the Year, and Video of the Year. Liberia: DenG, Kobazzie, Stunna, Ace Cape book for Davido’s November 29 Concert in Liberia

Davido expected in Liberia by November 28 Despite the growing waves of speculation over the plan 'Boycott' of Davido's concert, by some dissatisfied Liberian musicians, Kobazzie, DenG, Stunna, Ace Cape amongst other artists are already booked for the event.  These mentioned artists are already posting promotion videos of the appearance at the concert, encouraging their fans to turn up at the SKD, where the event will be held.  Rumors are circulating that some artists are demanding about six thousands, but the organizers are offering two thousand or a little less.

Lydia Freeman's 2018 Sisterhood Campaign The CEO of Giselle Magazine, Liberian blogger, Lydia Freeman is the brain behind a yearly campaign called Sisterhood. The purpose of this project is to bring unity among women within the Liberian community.  She empowers women through images of unity and laughter. The goal for this year's campaign is to raise funds for the St. Anthony's Educational Foundation in River Gee, Liberia.  The team are raising funds by selling these beautiful blouses in the photos.
