Salome Kwarwah, Liberian nurse who survived Ebola dies from pregnancy complications

Salome Kwarwah, a Liberian nurse who survived the deadly Ebola epidemic passed away from pregnancy complications on February 22, 2017. She was age 28. Salome thought her life was over when she tested positive for Ebola, which killed her parents.  But after recovering at the Elwa 3 Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Ebola treatment center in Monrovia,Liberia, she began working as a mental health counselor there, helping others to fight the virus. She told her story before her demise:   "It all started with a severe headache and a fever. Then, later, I began to vomit and I got diarrhea. My father was sick and my mother too. My niece, my fiancé, and my sister had all fallen sick. We all felt helpless. It was my uncle who first got the virus in our family. He contracted it from a woman he helped bring to hospital. Jay Z will be the first rapper inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame

Jay Z Jay Z, Babyface and the songwriting and production team of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis are among this year's inductees into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. The artists will receive the honor at the organization's 48th Annual Induction and Awards diner on June 15 in New York City. Jay Z will be the first rapper to be inducted. Motown founder Berry Gordy, who deferred his induction in 2016, will also be inducted this year. The Kenyan lady who made news after her husband chopped off her hands because she could not bear him children, revealed that she is pregnant. Ms Jackline Mwende told  Nation Kenya on Tuesday , that the father of her child is a close friend she was dating before the gruesome attack. She had conceived about three days before the attack, and she has no regrets for it because she "opted for this route" out of her deep-rooted desire to bear children.   Ms Mwende said that the attack might have something to do with the fact that, a day earlier, she had been seen in public with the man she was having an affair with. In 2014, he came back into the entertainment industry as a comedian.  During his days as an artist, he went by the stage name, "Slow But Sure."
