Atlanta rapper, Future who's among the all-star guest list on DJ Khaled's forthcoming album 'Grateful', showed up at his studio on Thursday for a recording session with $1M in cash. According to reports, the stacks was his inspiration for the recording they worked on. More photos below..

Rayce Former Manager Danku strips half naked on IG, calls out Rayce and Jebon Records

Danku, Rayce's former manager, took to Instagram to call out the singer and his new management, Jebon Records. Nigerian film director Tchidi Chikere stepped out with his actress wife, Nuella Njubigbo, and their lovely 2-year-old daughter Tess. Brazil becomes first country to qualify for Russia 2018 World Cup!

Brazil has officially become the first country to qualify for next year's World cup in Russia after the South American nation defeated Paraguay 3-0 on Wednesday morning, and then watched Peru's inflict a 2-1 victory over Uruguay. The win over Paraguay, inspired by country captain Neymar, was Brazil's 13th match without a loss, booking their place in Russia. In Brazil's group, Colombia, Uruguay and Chile occupy the remaining three guaranteed World Cup spots.. Brazil even though they lost their first game during qualifying, to Chile, have not lost in the 13 subsequent matches. A run which means Brazil sits on 33 points after 14 matches, with 10 wins, one loss and three draws. “When I look at my family — the players — and when we talk to the fans and see how happy they are, that’s when you think ‘I’m part of something very special,'” Head coach, Tite said after Brazil’s qualification was confirmed. Nigerian-British boxer and Rio 2016 Olympian,  Lawrence Okolie took just 20 seconds to score a knockout win on his professional debut. The 24-year-old British cruiserweight, who has Nigerian parents, caught compatriot Geoffrey Cave with two solid right hands. The bout followed Anthony Crolla ’s points defeat by Jorge Linares at Manchester Arena. ‘Sorry to everyone that missed me fighting,’ Okolie tweeted. ‘The good news is a win by KO in 20 seconds!! Bad news is I’m back in the cage for now.’ London-based Cave, 33, has now lost all three of his professional fights. Tanzanian President arrests rapper for insulting him in his song

Tanzanian President John Magufuli, nicknamed 'The Bulldozer' who is well known for his no-nonsense leadership has arrested a rapper who insulted his government in his new song. Emmanuel Elibariki who is simply known on stage as Ney Wa Mitego aimed multiple shots at the President in his new song 'Wapo', which has gone viral on social media. Part of it asks 'Is there still freedom of expression in the country?' A police spokesperson who confirmed his arrest told a local newspaper that 'Ney wa Mitego will be questioned for releasing a song with words that malign the government.' His arrest comes just days after President John Magufuli warned media owners to be careful on how they use their press freedom.

Nigerian Fashion Designer Chiedu Chukwumah Breaks Under Pressure: Precious Lakis to the rescue

26 March 2017 / Berenice Mulubah  Precious Lakis and Chiedu Chukwumah, two amazing fashion designers from West Africa, one smiles under pressure and the other falls apart.  The Bright Colors Fashion show held at Farotage in Raleigh, NC, on March 25, 2017, was a great success.  The show featured designs from Precious Pieces Couture, designed by Precious Lakis of Liberia and Doro1681 designed by Chiedu Chukwumah of Nigeria.  Both designers represented West Africa well (photos from the event coming soon).  Was it flawless behind the scenes as it was on the runway? Of course not and C Liberia Clearly has the 411 from behind the scene.  Here we go:  Chiedu was straight up stressed. Fans Pay Final Respects to Quincy B at Antoinette Tubman Stadium

25 March 2017 / Berenice Mulubah  On the night of March 24, 2017, sweet melodies circulated in the air at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium as thousands of fans joined Liberian entertainers to celebrate the life of Quincy L. Burrowes aka Quincy B. Some of the artists who graced the stage are DenG, Vero, Christoph, PCK & L'Frankie, Erigeso, Teddyride and many more. After weeks of tears and sorrow over the shocking death of the young musician, the nation dried their tears with memories of his beautiful voice and amazing songs.  Check out few photos from the wake.

Mohammed Anas: "I call my daughter my girlfriend"

23 March 2017 / Berenice Mulubah  The footballer who mistakenly thanked his wife and girlfriend during his post- match interview has denied he's been unfaithful.  Mohammed Anas appeared to dig himself into an even bigger hole when he said he was talking about his daughter in the now legendary interview. "My family knows that I call my daughter my girlfriend. That's what I was talking about. I don't have a girlfriend," the Ghanaian striker said.   Anas who plays for South African team 'Free State Stars,' was named 'man of the match' after scoring two goals in the Star's draw against Ajax Cape Town.   His post-match interview started innocuously enough when he thanked God and his fans, but things took a decidedly awkward turn when he suddenly blurted out: "Thank you for this, I appreciate my fans. Blogger Berenice Mulubah receives overwhelming love from fans on her 39th birthday

On March 20, Liberian entertainment blogger Berenice Mulubah celebrated her 39th birthday.  Social media was flooded with birthday wishes from her friends, family, fans and the who's who of the Liberian entertainment industry.  The blogger is known for her controversial posts on social media and is refer to as being not likable by Liberian celebrities.  But, that was not the case on March 20th, nothing but love was shown to the blogger from the industry.  Check out some of the birthday wishes below.     

C.I.C is recovering gracefully

C.I.C C.I.C from SOG records, is one of the artists involved in the car accident that killed Qunicy B.  C.I.C had his right leg broken in two places.  The artist manager posted on Facebook yesterday that he is slowly recovering and is able to laugh, talk with friends and joke around.  Thank God for the good news.
