Bill Cosby Going To Prison For More Than 3 Years For 2004 Rape

Less than two hours after being designated a sexually violent predator , Bill Cosby has been sentenced to 3 to 10 years in prison by a Pennsylvania judge after being convicted for the 2004 rape of former Temple University employee Andrea Constand . The ruling by Judge Steven O’Neill comes nearly three years after the much accused actor once known as “America’s Dad” was arrested an charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault against Constand. With Cosby sitting in the Norristown, PA courthouse, Tuesday’s long-expected decision comes six months after a jury found the actor guilty of all three counts in a retrial. “No one is above the law,” O’Neil said from the bench to Cosby, who was seated just in front of him in the Montgomery County courtroom. He added that it’s no matter what their “wealth, fame, celebrity or even philanthropy” — a clear dig at the latter element Cosby’s lawyers frequently brought regarding their client’s character. Proclaiming he felt

Liberians Take to Streets to Demand Return of Lost Millions

Protestors carried petitions to present to embassies of the United States, the EU and the United Nations in Monrovia Monday, shouting "bring back our money." Containers loaded with Liberian dollar notes worth $104 million (€88 million) printed in Lebanon and Sweden arrived at Liberian ports in November 2017 and August 2018. Last Tuesday, Liberian Information Minister Nagabe told Voice of America that there were no records of the containers being collected. On Friday, Finance Minister Samuel Tweh appeared to back suggestions that the money had not been properly declared. "I am saying there is no missing money. No one is looking for billions of [Liberian] dollars," Tweh told local radio. 5 percent of GDP The supposed disappearance, worth nearly 5 percent of the impoverished West African country's gross domestic product (GDP), led last week to a travel departure ban on 15 people, including Charles Sirleaf, the son of ex-president Ellen Johnson Sirl

Bill Cosby is declared 'sexually violent predator'

NORRISTOWN, Pa. — A judge declared Bill Cosby a "sexually violent predator" on Tuesday as a first step toward sentencing the 81-year-old comedian for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman over a decade ago. The classification means that Cosby must undergo monthly counseling for the rest of his life and report quarterly to authorities. His name will appear on a sex-offender registry sent to neighbors, schools and victims. Montgomery County Judge Steven O'Neill made the decision as he prepared to sentence Cosby for violating Temple University women's basketball administrator Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia estate in 2004. The comic once known as America's Dad for his role as wise and understanding Dr. Cliff Huxtable on "The Cosby Show" in the 1980s faced anywhere from probation to 10 years in prison after being convicted in April in the first celebrity trial of the #MeToo era. Prosecutors asked for five to 10 years behind bars.

Eminem's "Killshot" Ties Him With Lil Wayne For Third Most Top 10 Hits Among Rappers

"Killshot" is quickly becoming one of the most commercially successful diss records of all time, even with all the criticism Eminem has been facing because of it. Kellz heard the song and rated it a 6 out of 10, deciding not to respond. The track has officially debuted at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, beating "Rap Devil's" at #13. The song has even helped Em reach new territory, officially tying Lil Wayne as the two rappers with the third highest number of top 10 entries to the Hot 100. Both stars now have 20 records each that have charted in the top 10. Em received even more good news today as his "Lucky You" record with Joyner Lucas is now eligible for gold certification. Congratulations to Slim for the continued chart success!

Cosby, accuser in court for start of sentencing

Bill Cosby and his chief accuser arrived at a suburban Philadelphia courthouse Monday for the start of a sentencing hearing that will determine how the 81-year-old comedian will be punished for drugging and sexually assaulting her more than 14 years ago. Cosby was the first celebrity to go to trial in the #MeToo era and could be the first to go to prison — perhaps for the rest of his days — after being convicted in April of violating Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004. Cosby, looking grim, walked into the courthouse on the arm of his longtime spokesman as protesters shouted at him. Constand arrived a short time later. At the end of the potentially two-day hearing, Montgomery County Judge Steven T. O'Neill could sentence Cosby to as many as 30 years in prison or send him home on probation. The state guidelines for someone like Cosby, with no prior convictions, call for about one to four years behind bars. Judges can't

2Pac Conspiracy Theory Revived: British Man Says He Helped Him Escape

He plans to publish a book about the matter. Fans of many deceased legends often hold on to their idols so tightly that they refuse to believe in their deaths. Fans of Tupac Shakur AKA 2Pac have also engaged in this emotion. Many theories about his being alive have survived decades. A popular one has been his alleged escape to the Caribbean. This particular take is being  revived by a British man who claims to have been part of the rapper's exit strategy. Michael Nice says he was a member of a security working for The Black Panthers Party during the 90s. According to Nice, when the group caught wind of a hit being placed on Tupac, they decided to shield the entertainer from danger by getting him out of the country. He affirms that the rapper was injured during the Las Vegas shooting on September 7, 1996. Still, they managed to flee successfully. "It was me, my brother, the pilot, Tupac as the co-pilot and two Panther guys on the jet.&

Man gets 160-year prison sentence for impregnating 10-year-old girl who took stand against him

A 34-year-old Indiana man was sentenced to 160 years in prison on Thursday for impregnating a 10-year-old girl, who courageously testified against him. The 10-year-old girl took the stand in Grant County earlier this year, telling the jury that Nicholas Thrash molested her at least 15 times. She was 11 when she gave birth to her baby boy last year. Investigators reported that the mother discovered the pregnancy as her daughter was trying on dresses for a school dance she was attending. When the girl told her mother who was responsible, her mother told the 10-year-old girl to say a classmate is responsible for the pregnancy if anyone at school asked. According to CBS 4, Thrash is looking to serve a minimum of 132 of the 160 years in prison. The conviction is "something little compared to what (the victim) has gone through and what she will go through,” deputy prosecutor Lisa Glancy told the Chronicle-Tribune. The girl’s mother and family faced neglect and

Fight breaks out in church when pastor tells woman her best friend is behind her problems (video)

A fight broke out in a church in South Africa when the pastor told a woman that her best friend who was standing beside her is the cause of her problems. Pastor Alph Lukau of Alleluia Ministries International began to prophesy two friends who came to his church for prayers and the prophesy led to a fight when it was revealed that one was responsible for the other's business woes. One of the women is named Pamela and the other is Japa. During the prophecy, Pastor Lukau told Japa that her business partner who usually invests so much in her business has suddenly turned his back on her. Japa agreed that this is true and the pastor went on to say that the business partner has also demanded that she returns the plane tickets he bought for her and has also taken back the money he gave to her. Japa also agreed that the pastor was right. The pastor then went on to tell her that the cause of her problems is someone very close to her. At this point, congregants were looking shock

Eminem's 'Killshot' makes YouTube history while Machine Gun Kelly gets booed

The feud between Emimem and Machine Gun Kelly continues to escalate, as Eminem breaks a new YouTube record while MGK lands in hot water with fans. On Tuesday, YouTube announced that Eminem's "Killshot," the rapper's much-anticipated reply to Machine Gun Kelly's diss track "Rap Devil," became the biggest hip-hop debut in the streaming service's history with 38.1 million views in its first 24 hours. As for MGK, the rapper has some explaining to do after social media users called out the rapper for being dishonest on Instagram. MGK escalated his famous feud with Eminem Sunday night by posting a photo of himself wearing a shirt emblazoned with the “Killshot” artwork, Eminem’s response to his Slim Shady diss “Rap Devil. In the picture, MGK is flipping off the camera with what appears to be a supportive crowd doing the same behind him. The photo was captioned “he missed,” but now concertgoers are revealing a different series of events th

Conspiracy Theorists Believe Eminem & Machine Gun Kelly Feud Is Staged

There's a decent amount of evidence surrounding the claims too. Could the world's current hottest rap beef be just a ploy to promote Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly's projects? That's what some conspiracy theorists believe. These days, you just can't believe everything you read or hear about. For the last few weeks, Em and MGK have been going back-and-forth, dissing each other in "Killshot" and "Rap Devil" respectively. After Kelly's name was brought up in "Not Alike," he promptly released his response, which made people lose their minds. Shady pump-faked by saying he was taking his time with a reply, hitting us with "Killshot" a few days after his Sway interview. While we believe that their 6-year-old feud is just blowing up now after bubbling for so many years, others think that this was all planned. There's decent evidence supporting the claims too. The most basic theories point

Stormy Daniels Compares Trump's Penis To "Mushroom Character In Mario Kart"

Stormy Daniels hasn't been shy about releasing the intimate details of her relationship with Donald Trump, but apparently, she has much more to say.  The Guardian   got their hands on Daniels new memoir  Full Disclosure ,  and some disturbing snippets about the president's penis have made their way online. She describes it as “smaller than average” but “not freakishly small." “He knows he has an unusual penis,” Daniels writes. “It has a huge mushroom head. Like a toadstool." If that image isn't enough, she continues on to ruin a character from childhood video games. “I lay there, annoyed that I was getting fucked by a guy with Yeti pubes and a dick like the mushroom character in Mario Kart." “It may have been the least impressive sex I’d ever had, but clearly, he didn’t share that opinion," she continued. In the memoir, Daniels also reveals that Trump manipulated his show,  The Apprentice,  to help the adult film star cheat. “We’ll figure out a

In a Florence flood, she tried to hold onto her baby. But the water ripped him away.

CHARLOTTE —When Dazia Lee tries to bring order to the disorder of that night, it helps her to think in numbers. She thinks of the exact times of every decision, every call, every bit of bad news — reference points leading until the very last when, at 10:20 a.m. on Monday, she received a call from a county detective saying that the body of her 1-year-old son, Kaiden, had been found 15 feet underwater. The story of how that happened began the night before, on Sunday, at 7:02. All weekend, Lee, 20, had watched the staggering force of Florence rip through the region, killing people and unleashing devastating rains, winds and floods all over North Carolina. But by 7:02, all of that seemed over to her. It was barely even raining in her neighborhood in northeast Charlotte, where she lived with her parents and son. And she was due to visit her grandmother, whom she’d missed seeing over the weekend, at her home in Wadesboro, more than an hour away. So she brought out her so
