Liberia: President Weah Plays for Grand Kru Volley Ball Team

  President George Weah assisted his County Grand Kru team to a convincing victory against Bong County on Saturday. Grand Kru, spurred on by the sport lover, defeated Bong County 3-0 in the Volleyball edition of the National County Sports Meet, which was held at the SKD gymnasium on Saturday. President Weah played an important role in his team's triumph, putting up numerous strong blocks. As the first president to participate in the country's most important athletic event, he has a unique distinction. George Weah JR, the Liberian leader's son, also showed off his footballing abilities for Grand Kru, but he was unable to help his team advance to the final eight of the competition.

Liberia: President Weah's fatherly role is lauded in an emotional letter written by his presidential aide.

  President George Manneh Weah's Special Presidential Aide, Sekou Kalasco Damaro Jomandy, has praised the Liberian leader for the fatherly role he (President Weah) has played in his personal life over the years. His gratitude to President Weah was expressed in an open letter to the Liberian leader, dated December 24, 2021, in which Presidential Aide Damaro noted that he was short of words to accurately capture the emotions he felt during his recent wedding, as well as the way he continues to feel with the level of fatherly love that President Weah has shown him throughout his life.  Check out the letter below:  H.E.
