Beyonce Given Groundbreaking Control Over Vogue September Issue

Her vision entails a black photographer shooting the cover for the very first time. Vogue's September issue is one of the publication's most coveted. It is now being reported that the iconic cover will be under the total control of Beyonce Knowles. Anna Wintour is said to have given the singer the unprecedented honor. As groundbreaking as this is, Beyonce upped the ante by enlisting 23-year-old photographer, Tyler Mitchell. He will be the very first black photographer to shoot this particular cover in all of Vogue's 126-year history.
Mitchell, who has experience shooting campaigns for the likes of Givenchy and Marc Jacobs, has a particular style he describes as "honest."
"I depict black people and people of color in a really real and pure way. There is an honest gaze to my photos." According to a source that has no authorization to speak to the press, Mitchell's profile made him an unlikely candidate for the shoot a…

Apple's Market Value Is Approaching A Trillion Dollars: Report

That's a lot of zeroes. Apple is one of the most trusted companies in the world. From their iPhones and iPads, to their laptops and accessories, the electronic and technology giant is one of the most successful American companies ever. Many Americans have at least one piece of Apple tech in their household, and the same can be said for residents of European and Asian countries. According to CNN, all those Apple products are adding up to some massive economic gains for the company.
At the moment, Apple is worth $935 billion. If the company can impress investors and continue to increase their value, they will surpass the trillion dollar mark. If it does, Apple will be the first US company to pass the trillion dollar milestone. The company's stock is up 12% this year because of high sales of the iPhone 8 and X. Warren Buffett is one of the top investors in Apple. Buffett's company Berkshire Hathaway purchased almost 75 million shares of Apple…

Dr. Patrick Burrowes Pays Homage to Hilary Teage in Stage Play 'Citizen Teage' Starring E Owusu Dahnsaw

On July 21, 2018, Dr. Patrick Burrowes debut the life-story of Hilary Teage, one of Liberia’s greatest statesmen, in a stage play, starring amazing actor E Owusu Dahnsaw.  'Citizen Teage' which was first performed at the Monrovia City Theater, showcased the forgotten contribution of Hilary Teage. “Teage was the father of Liberia’s independence. Just as Ghanaians uphold Kwame Nkrumah and Americans look up to George Washington, Liberians need to honor the man who laid our foundation.

“Besides that, Teage accomplished many other things. He was the editor of our first newspaper, pastor of three churches, owner of several ships and one of Liberia’s greatest writers. He wrote our Declaration of Independence and our first national anthem." “On top of all that, Teage is a great role model for today’s youth. He only went to school for three years, but he used his basic education to keep reading, learning and improving himself. He didn’t feel sorry for himself or make excuses or r…

50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather Beef: How It All Started

Floyd Mayweather explains the root of his beef with 50 Cent. It's been almost a month since the beginning of the most recent chapter of the public Instagram beef between Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent. There's been so much petty, back-and-forth name-calling that it's difficult to remember where it all started. Well, the recent escalation started with an $18 million watch. The Jacob and Co. timepiece that Floyd Mayweather bought at the end of June prompted 50 Cent to go on Instagram and tease him about it.
The beef has continued to limp along until today, when Floyd Mayweather appeared on Complex News to address the origins of his and 50's bad blood. The boxer, speaking from his gym in LA, began by clarifying: "I don't bash no one on social media. I don't talk bad about no one on social media". On the origin of the beef, Floyd described the time before when him and 50 were friends and would "travel together" an…

Bow Wow Giving All His Money Away & Quitting Rap To "Work At GameStop"

Bow Wow blows up on Twitter & claims to be giving away all his money. For a minute, it looked like Bow Wow was in a much better space. He had begun to release music again and focus on his happiness with his girlfriend. However, something seems to have pissed him off today as he's acting out on Twitter, making outrageous claims and throwing his entire life away. Shad Moss has worked hard to maintain a level of success since striking gold as a child star. Unfortunately, he may not be at the level he's envisioned for himself because he's telling everyone that he's giving all his money away and going to work at GameStop to rebuild his happiness.
If that's what will make him happy in the long run, we support him 100% but it appears that he's acting irrationally. The blow-up seems to have begun after somebody tweeted about him kicking them out of his section of the club for recording him and his girl. Shortly after he responded to…

Blac Chyna's Mom Calls Her A "Mistake" & "Statutory Rape Baby" In Heated Rant

The family drama is getting really ugly. If you've been following the drama between Blac Chyna and her mother, Tokyo Toni, just know that it's just gotten a whole lot uglier. Toni previously reached out to Amber Rose, urging her to get through to her daughter and let her spend time with her grandchildren. According to her, she hasn't seen either Dream or King Cairo in two years and she's getting insanely frustrated. In a fit of rage, Tokyo Toni absolutely blasted her daughter for keeping the kids away from her, calling her one of the things you never want to hear in your life.
The lengthy social media rant was likely the worst of them all so far. Describing her strained relationship with Chyna and bringing up both Tyga and Rob Kardashian, Toni made some ugly claims about her daughter. Speaking directly to the camera, she said, "Blac Chyna, the name I gave you was Angela Renee. The disrespect that you have been giving me for the pas…

Liberia the fastest growing flag in shipping and offshore

Liberia is the fastest growing major open registry in 2018 in both the shipping and offshore sectors, according to leading shipping services provider Clarksons in its Clarksons World Fleet Monitor June 2018. Alfonso Castillero, CCO of the Liberian International Ship & Corporate Registry (LISCR), the US-based manager of the Liberian Registry, says, “I am delighted to see that Liberia continues to be the leading flag in 2018. It has grown by 2.2 percent in terms of gross tonnage overall so far this year, while Panama showed negative numbers and the Marshall Islands growth of just 1.7 percent. “The market recognizes that Liberia has improved its services and invested in technology to make the lives of its clients easier without increasing its fees. Former Miami Hurricanes football player Tyrone Moss dies at 33

Former Miami Hurricanes running back Tyrone Moss died Thursday night at the age of 33, the school's athletic department confirmed in a tweet Friday morning.

Though the cause of death was initially unclear, Moss' former high school football coach, Steve Davis, told The Sun-Sentinel that the running back had been dealing with an unspecified medical issue.
Moss was a first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection in 2005 and ran for 1,942 yards and 26 touchdowns at Miami. A spate of injuries slowed him toward the end of his career, however, and he ultimately never played a snap in the NFL.
A South Florida native, Moss drew national attention for his high school accolades in Broward County, which has historically been a football hotbed. He ran for more than 7,000 yards at Blanche Ely High School and was named a Parade All-American, according to The Sun-Sentinel.
