Kim Kardashian shuts down rumors of drug use: It’s ‘sugar’

Kim Kardashian isn't waiting for rumors of her cocaine use to blow over.

The reality star quickly shut down a fan on Twitter Tuesday who suggested that the mom-of-two had a coke habit after an image posted to Kardashian's Instagram story appeared to feature two suspicious-looking lines of white powder in the background.

The fan screenshotted the post and suggested the dust could be cocaine, but Kardashian promptly clarified the situation and revealed the powdery substance was just the remnants of goodies she picked up at Dylan's Candy Bar.

"I do not play with rumors like this so I'm gonna shut it down real quick," she wrote. "That's sugar from our candy mess from dylan's candy shop."

The tweet Kardashian was responding to has since been made private, but read, "Caught out with cocaine."

According to TMZ, Kardashian's defense stands strong — she was spotted Sunday in New York treating daughter North to a sweet shopping trip at a candy store.

The "Selfie" author has long been vocal about her stance against drugs, and in a 2016 open letter on her website told fans, "I don't do drugs, I hardly drink."
