Colloque Singer DenG Quits Music: “I need to stop dreaming and face reality”

Liberia's hit maker, DenG, the first Liberian artist to sing R&B in Colloque, creating a new genre of music called Colloque & Rhythm, dropping hit songs like Kemah, Lappa Fine, Jue You Bad and many more, claimed that he is quitting the Music Industry and starting a business.  The artist who just returned to Liberia from a tour in Australia, posted this morning on his facebook page, "Starting my own business now and forgetting about this whole music thing because it's a total waste of time."
In an inbox chat, DenG told C Liberia clearly, "Every day is the same story, nothing changing, it's time to focus. I need to stop dreaming and face reality."

The reality is, the music industry is a hard road to travel.  It takes more than talent to survive, it takes determination, patience, and hard work.  Most can't handle the demands.  Music is normally not an overnight success. Many years of no money but more work.

    Do what is best for u bro, been a musician in Liberia is such a waste, no support, up lifting , no good manager its just u and ur movie n the tireless night and day in studio... Liberian rather buy foreign artist album their our artist that are starving to sucess

    Please talk this brother,he needs motivation.Life is not easy for those musicians in Liberia. That business could serve as a backup.More people who do music in the world do business to back them up therefore he could do it that way. Let us talk to him.

President George Weah's One Day National Forum Successfully Attended by 26 Political Parties

On Thursday, August 8, 2018, President George Weah had a sit down with 26 political parties of Liberia.  The meeting aimed at advancing ideals that promote the spirit of national unity and political tolerance between opposition political parties and the government.  ANC, LP and UP attended the meeting as a team. According to Deputy Minister Eugene L. Fahngon, Deputy Minister for Press and Public Affairs at Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs & Tourism, all 26 political parties attended and participated from start to finish.  Even though, social media was buzzing about AB Dillion walking out of the meeting, he walked out as an individual and not a political party, "the invitation was extended to political parties and not to individuals," Minister Fahngon stated in his live video.  Each political party gave ideals and recommendations, which made the meeting a great success.  According to  Deputy Minister Fahngon, "there will be future engagement...
