The Group PCK & Frankie Finally Responds to 'I Here' Critics

The group PCK  & Frankie has responded to criticism about 'I Here' lyrics.  As we all know, their  new song is trending on social media, both positively and negatively.  Some are all for it and find the song creative, but for others, the lyrics is degrading towards women.  Check out what the artists had to say to those who think the song is degrading to women.  
 
"The phrase 'Kill your dog,' as used in the song is not offensive or in any way referring to just women. This is a colloqua slang that can be attributed to both men and women. DOG was used to rhymed with Boy. More over, it is figurative expression and we are not surprise that it is interpreted in different tones. The message in the song is to encourage our men to be respectful of the women they date by making a proper introduction to the ladies parents. We have observed that guys will girls and tried to stay away from meeting the parents.  For this reason,we are urging  men to go and make things right with the family even if the girl is refusing. GUYS shouldn't hide themselves no more from the girl's parents."
 
There it is, the main message in the song is, "go tell your ma and pa say I here," here to make things right.  But, the fans are hung up on, "ehn they want know your boy, your boy who can kill your dog."

    I think is a great song and the message is powerful, moreover very creative! I have it on repeat in my car, house and at work. I hope these young men can get rewarded for their hard work.

    Great song, that is how it is, when you do a song there are always several interpretations to the lyrics. This is the interesting about new songs/albumns.

President George Weah's One Day National Forum Successfully Attended by 26 Political Parties

On Thursday, August 8, 2018, President George Weah had a sit down with 26 political parties of Liberia.  The meeting aimed at advancing ideals that promote the spirit of national unity and political tolerance between opposition political parties and the government.  ANC, LP and UP attended the meeting as a team. According to Deputy Minister Eugene L. Fahngon, Deputy Minister for Press and Public Affairs at Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs & Tourism, all 26 political parties attended and participated from start to finish.  Even though, social media was buzzing about AB Dillion walking out of the meeting, he walked out as an individual and not a political party, "the invitation was extended to political parties and not to individuals," Minister Fahngon stated in his live video.  Each political party gave ideals and recommendations, which made the meeting a great success.  According to  Deputy Minister Fahngon, "there will be future engagement...

Stephen Worjloh aka Big Steve Liberian music industry before the 90's was booming globally.  As the young entertainers struggles to get their industry back on track, after the war, remembering their musical history plays a big role.
