Eddie S. Watson Jr

"My prayer for Liberia today is that every Liberian home or abroad, leaders or ordinary citizens, should endeavor to work as hard and sincerely as possible to rebuild Liberia. Build what we've never had, re-brand its image and help bring this dear nation back to a place of respect and admiration among the community of nations. This is not a President's Job alone! Every individual action counts. In our homes, work places, amongst our peers, amongst other na...tionals our every action counts and reflects on Liberia. Think about it. With so much richness in history, culture and tradition, let's not lose our identity any further as years of war and lopsided ideas of urbanization have threaten this identity and nearly pulverized every bit of what were called culture and tradition. Even local languages or dialects, an integral heritage, are now the thing for the villagers. Over 90% or much more of people born in the city(Monrovia) can not speak any local dialect and many have never even visited where their ancestors are from. Let us also love one another! Be proud of one another! Support one another! Help each other climb! In Unity Success Is Sure! Let this day not be as any other similar that goes with just dancing, eating or partying. Let it also be a day we ask ourselves individually, 'WHO AM I?'. Again Happy 26th and God Bless Us All!" Eddie S. Watson Jr
