Ebuwa Martins and Angie Valerie Henries

Photos of  Nigerian entertainment giant, Ebuwa Martins and Angie Valerie Henries surfaced on social media recently.  The two lovebirds have intimate photos sending a strong message that a wedding is in the making.  Ebuwa Martins is CEO Ovation TV, one of Nigeria/Africa’s biggest entertainment investments.  Ebuwa expressed his interest in Liberia as a market hub.  Martins is also the brain behind Sound City presence to Liberia; through his efforts Timaya,Wizkid,Jay-Martins, R2bees and several other international artists trooped to Liberia. Ovation TV is expected to launch in Liberia soon.  Ovation, we are told, is expected to partner with top television stations in the country, which will eventually open more entertainment doors. TV presentations, record labels branding, linking movie stars and musicians to big industries are expected to open with Ovation executive landing on Liberian soil. Liberian International artist, Mr.Smith is reportedly the brain behind inviting SoundCity on her first visit to the country. LIB24 TV is tipped in being one of several outlets to feature Ovation activities in the West African nation.

To extend the benefits of arts, culture and tourism, the Liberian government must support and rely on arts and culture as a key input for rebuilding our nation. There are several actions this administration should take to strengthen the role that arts and culture p…
