It’s raining; I’m in bed with a bottle of wine and a great
book. Ok, this is not a romance movie,
just me reminiscing on what I consider a great day. I’ve always enjoyed reading, since I was a
little girl. I do have a huge collection
of books around my house. There is a
connection between my love for reading and another passion of mine, Liberian
arts and culture. I do have passion for
Liberian traditional music, food, fashion, arts and drinks. I’ve come to realize that there is something
very important that is missing from my list, Liberian literature. How could that be? For someone who loves to read and has a
passion for the Liberian culture, why is my collection of Liberian literature so
low? Well, I’m on a quest to fix that
and if you are in the same situation as I am, I’m encouraging you to join
me. Below is a list of few books written
by Liberian authors, please take a look and start building your collection of
Liberian books. One Love.
