Liberian Fashion Designers Showcase Designs at the 8th Annual Baltimore Fashion Week

At the 8th Annual Baltimore Fashion Week, on August 11-16, 2015,  20 designers showcased their designs.  There were 12 designers from Maryland, two from Pennsylvania, two from New York, and the rest from Illinois, Michigan, Colorado, and Minneapolis. The designers presented designs that represented their individual styles, ranging from bridal wear to specialty t-shirts to eclectic couture. Two out of the 20 designers are from Liberia.  Liberian Designer brand Angie H Couture took a bold step and introduced her plus size collection. Her collection appealed to women of all sizes.  Also, rocking the runaway, was Liberian designers brand J Wonyen Designs by Crystal Wonyen.

Over the weekend, Snapchat found itself in hot water after a now-deleted domestic violence meme featuring Rihanna and Chris Brown went viral.
