Transforming from Bucky Raw to Manolo.

I remember having a short conversation with this young man on the phone, few months back. We talked about him understanding his target audience and building an image that will give him a larger fan base. We also talked about him rapping in his dialect. About a month ago, he dropped a Mano freestyle that went viral. Shortly after, he changed his name from Bucky Raw to Manolo. Slowly, he is transitioning from a thug hip hop rapper to a Hipco/traditional rapper and the boy has fire. I am glad to see this transformation. These amazing, determine, young talents are up to something. They are going to build something out of nothing and they are going to do it without the help of foreigners. Why? Because they have what it takes to succeed, all they need is a little bit of discipline and it is on its way.

President George Weah's One Day National Forum Successfully Attended by 26 Political Parties

On Thursday, August 8, 2018, President George Weah had a sit down with 26 political parties of Liberia.  The meeting aimed at advancing ideals that promote the spirit of national unity and political tolerance between opposition political parties and the government.  ANC, LP and UP attended the meeting as a team. According to Deputy Minister Eugene L. Fahngon, Deputy Minister for Press and Public Affairs at Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs & Tourism, all 26 political parties attended and participated from start to finish.  Even though, social media was buzzing about AB Dillion walking out of the meeting, he walked out as an individual and not a political party, "the invitation was extended to political parties and not to individuals," Minister Fahngon stated in his live video.  Each political party gave ideals and recommendations, which made the meeting a great success.  According to  Deputy Minister Fahngon, "there will be future engagement...

Stephen Worjloh aka Big Steve Liberian music industry before the 90's was booming globally.  As the young entertainers struggles to get their industry back on track, after the war, remembering their musical history plays a big role.
