NIGERIAN ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS (NEA) 2016: FOUR NOMINATIONS FOR LIBERIA, VIEW FULL LIST

The prestigious award show in its eleventh year is aimed at highlighting Nigerians who consistently make an impact on their immediate communities and beyond.

The Nigerian Entertainment Awards (NEAs) 2016 nominees list has been announced.

The NEAs is an annual award ceremony with primary objective of recognizing the contributions of Nigerian and African Entertainers.
The award ceremony, in its 11th year, is not only focused on recognizing Nigerian entertainers but also highlight Nigerians who continue to make an impact in our immediate communities in Nigeria or extended communities in the diaspora.
This year, the producers of the NEAs are excited to announce the addition of some new categories and also the expansion of some existing categories to reflect the ever changing entertainment industry.
The 2016 NEAs will be held on September 4th, 2016 in New York City, during the labor day weekend.  Stay tuned for more information planned for the NEA weekend.

Liberia: Stunna In Negotiation For $1Million Deal With Universal Music

The rumor is true.  Speaking with Liberian musician Stunna management this morning, it has being confirmed that Stunna and his team are negotiating with Universal Music to take on the artist.  His team did not confirmed the exact amount, because negotiation is still in process, but it has been said that $1million was the first offer.  The global company's main rival is Temple Music, home to Nigeria's Iyana, who has worked with the Liberian artist in the past. But with Universal reportedly offering more than $1m for a six-year contract, it seem like Stunna is leaning towards Universal Music.
