By: Berenice Mulubah | October 27, 2016

Chef Thalmus Hare
After graduating from The Art Institute of Atlanta, where he obtained a degree in Culinary Arts, Chef Thalmus decided to become a restaurateur like his mother.  To bear his knowledge as an executive chef and his passion to share the culinary delights of his country, he set up LIBFOOD.com, a gourmet food service company that delivers the unique African soul food experience of his country to all 50 States within the USA.

In October 2010, LIBFOOD was launched.   This service is not limited to Liberians residing in the United States, but with as many people who desires the experience of African food.

As LIBFOOD has grown, attracting customers across the United States of America, Chef Thalmus has become a veritable culinary ambassador for  Liberia.  He  has also set his sights on building the first culinary institute in Liberia to help develop the country’s culinary traditions.

“We are blessed to have recently acquired property in Congo town across from the Chinese embassy in Liberia for the construction of Liberia’s first culinary institute - with your continuous help we can educate people, craft skills and serve the world", Chef Hare
