Wendy Joan Williams-Hunter is an American television host, actress, author, fashion designer and former radio host.
She has hosted the television talk show ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ since 2008.
Williams shows herself as a confident independent woman on screen and many people thought that she controlled the decisions around her show but it was recently revealed that husband holds all the power.
Kevin Hunter likes to control every aspect of the show and even takes charge of his wife’s security.
‘Kevin makes all the decisions and has become more and more controlling as the show has become a success. He insists that all show questions be run by him.’
The talk-show host has had to change her phone number by orders of Hunter so as to not be approachable by the people working on the show.
‘He’s also hired her a new driver, who reports to him.’
Williams and her husband created ‘Wendy Williams Productions’ together and they are executive producers of the show.
A source close to the couple has said that people don’t understand why Williams doesn’t take charge of things and just lets her husband run everything.
Apparently, the atmosphere is so tense that all producers have been told that scripts must be run through Hunter before Williams can read it.
