Popular TV Presenter and host of Standpoint,
Gifty Anti has advised girls to take control of their private part and decide
when and who they give them to.
She made this remark while discussing the
topic on her show dubbed “Own Your V Young Lady”.
“Even if after you don’t get to settle down
with the person, you will look back and say yes I did it with a better” she
said”.
According her, how you treat your vagina
will determine how life will be as some stories are sad.
“Some ladies contract HIV/AIDS after their
first encounter, yes I know someone like that. Sometimes we look back to how we
broke our virginity and we have regrets, you look back and say damn, did I
really do this with this person” she continued.
She acknowledged the fact this topic is not
discussed to make anyone feel terrible or point fingers at anyone who have made
mistakes.
“Most often this hits us after we have
become successful, powerful and confident. We are not saying this so you feel
bad about anything or point accusing fingers. We accept we have made mistakes
but we thank God we are here”
