Rita Dominic and other Nollywood actors join campaign to #SaveLeoMezie

In a bid to save ailing Leo Mezie, colleagues of the Nollywood actor have started soliciting for funds in assisting the Abia State-native.
Actress Rita Dominic and filmmaker Charles Inojie have lent their voices to the campaign of raising the N10 million required to treat Leo who reportedly battles a kidney problem.
‘Hello my family, friends and fans all over the world. I ask of u most passionately to give ur window’s mite to help a friend, brother and colleague (LEO MEZIE)who urgently requires a 10million naira medical intervention to stay alive. It sounds big, but where there’s a will they say, there’s a way. Together, we can make this happen. May the sacrificial reward of giving never elude any of us,’ Charles appealed.
Echoing the filmmaker’s appeal was Rita who wrote: ‘My people, I’m here to plead again for my dear colleague Leo Mezie.. Please let’s give whatever we can to save this talented actor’s life. God bless you all for standing by Nollywood always.’
The Nollywood collective will be hoping the controversy the #SaveMayowa campaign attracted will not have a negative impact on the response from potential donors.
