Beyonce leading in 2017 BET Awards Nomination

Singers claim seven and five nominations, respectively, followed by Chance the Rapper, Solange and Migos with four each.

​BeyoncĂ© is the leading nominee for the 2017 BET Awards with a total of seven nominations. Close behind is Bruno Mars with five nods, followed by Chance the Rapper, Solange and Migos tied at four a piece.
​BeyoncĂ©’s seven nods include best female R&B/pop artist (vying against sister Solange), best collaboration (with Kendrick Lamar on “Freedom”), album of the year and video of the year. Mars, also up for album of the year and video of the year, nabbed a nomination as well for best male R&B/pop artist. Migos’ nods include best group and best collaboration for “Bad and Bougee” with Lil Uzi Vert. Best male hip-hop artist nominee Chance the Rapper is also a best new artist nominee along with 21 Savage, Cardi B, Khalid and Young M.A. Check it out.

President George Weah's One Day National Forum Successfully Attended by 26 Political Parties

On Thursday, August 8, 2018, President George Weah had a sit down with 26 political parties of Liberia.  The meeting aimed at advancing ideals that promote the spirit of national unity and political tolerance between opposition political parties and the government.  ANC, LP and UP attended the meeting as a team. According to Deputy Minister Eugene L. Fahngon, Deputy Minister for Press and Public Affairs at Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs & Tourism, all 26 political parties attended and participated from start to finish.  Even though, social media was buzzing about AB Dillion walking out of the meeting, he walked out as an individual and not a political party, "the invitation was extended to political parties and not to individuals," Minister Fahngon stated in his live video.  Each political party gave ideals and recommendations, which made the meeting a great success.  According to  Deputy Minister Fahngon, "there will be future engagement...

Stephen Worjloh aka Big Steve Liberian music industry before the 90's was booming globally.  As the young entertainers struggles to get their industry back on track, after the war, remembering their musical history plays a big role.
