DenG Under Fire For Inappropriate Joke

The people’s artist, our beloved DenG, had a first-hand experience on what it feels like to upset the fans.  Yesterday, the artist posted the below statement on his social media, and it didn’t go down well with the fans.

“I will not drop the song I did with Davido, if you don’t vote for Weah.”

Oh boy, the fans were not having it.  They came down hard on their favorite artist.  Senator Weah may be the next president, but fans want to reach that decision on their own.

DenG quickly deleted the post and reposted:

Didn't know our people were so insensitive in our country oh😒...lol. So because it's election we can't have a little sense of humor or laugh no more!?

I have never questioned anyone's choice for the presidency because it is your constitutional right. Please don't question my choice. After tomorrow we will still be Liberians and play our different roles in society. Love u all😍

Now, that is what I called a half-ass apology to the fans, but if it did the job, no complain here.  Liberian entertainers need to understand that fame comes with responsibility and shouldn’t be taken lightly.
