Alice Yawo - DenG: DenG Former Manager Opens Up About Their Fallout

DenG former manger of two years, Alice Yawo gave C Liberia Clearly a gist of what led to the professional break up between the singer and manager.  An exclusive tell-all interview is coming up with Alice, but for now, here is a sneak peak into what went down. 
What was the determine factor that led to the end of the working relationship you had with DenG?

"There are so many things that led to the fallout.  I felt like I was being taking advantage of.  I made many sacrifices for my artist at the time, but wasn't getting respect and appreciation in return." 
There are rumors circulating about DenG not showing up for a video shoot you had planned. What is the deal with that? 
 "I flew from Massachusetts to Philadelphia for the first time in my life, to have everything in place for a great video shoot for DenG.  I spend a week in Philadelphia making sure everything was top notch.  I had a Maison booked and everything in placed.  On the day of the shoot, DenG didn't show up.  I give everything I had planned to two other artists, which they used for their video shoots.  DenG didn't show any remorse, as if my time and money didn't matter."



Did you and DenG had a contract?
"No." 

Where do you guys stand now?
"We have not spoken in a month.  I heard he is undertaking a new management. I wish him nothing but the best.  I want him to succeed.  He is a talented singer."

What's next for you? Are you going to take on a new artist? 

"I'm open to taking on a new artist in the future.  As of now, I'm working on something new.  I have few things coming out soon."

President George Weah's One Day National Forum Successfully Attended by 26 Political Parties

On Thursday, August 8, 2018, President George Weah had a sit down with 26 political parties of Liberia.  The meeting aimed at advancing ideals that promote the spirit of national unity and political tolerance between opposition political parties and the government.  ANC, LP and UP attended the meeting as a team. According to Deputy Minister Eugene L. Fahngon, Deputy Minister for Press and Public Affairs at Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs & Tourism, all 26 political parties attended and participated from start to finish.  Even though, social media was buzzing about AB Dillion walking out of the meeting, he walked out as an individual and not a political party, "the invitation was extended to political parties and not to individuals," Minister Fahngon stated in his live video.  Each political party gave ideals and recommendations, which made the meeting a great success.  According to  Deputy Minister Fahngon, "there will be future engagement...

Stephen Worjloh aka Big Steve Liberian music industry before the 90's was booming globally.  As the young entertainers struggles to get their industry back on track, after the war, remembering their musical history plays a big role.
