Thiago Cionek's own goal put Senegal in the lead. The ball deflected into the Poland net. Idrissa Gueye with the shot, and the ball deflected off Cionek's right foot and caught goalkeeper Szczesny wrong-footed. Hard Luck!

7' - M'Baye Niang's cross in front of the Poland goal-mouth from the left flank was easily intercepted by goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny
