Kanye West's Entire "Ye" Album Debuts In The Billboard Hot 100

Kanye's makes a big debut but Post Malone takes the top spot.
This week's Billboard chart update has arrived and it's time to see how well Kanye West's Ye album performed on the charts. The answer: pretty darn good.
It was already announced that Kanye's album would be debuting at the top spot of the Billboard 200 chart, with over 200K albums sold. Additionally, it seems that every single track on Kanye's seven-track album has debuted in the top 40 of the Hot 100 chart as well.
The big winner here is definitely "Yikes." The rumored lead single made it's debut in the top 10 of the chart at number 8, with fellow banger "All Mine" just outside the top 10 at number 11. Other placements include "Ghost Town" at number 16, "Wouldn't Leave" at number 25, "Violent Crimes" at 27, "I Thought About Killing You" surprisingly makes number 28, and "No Mistakes" trails the pack at number 36.
Kanye wasn't the only person to make gains this week. The number one spot on the Hot 100 chart has been in constant flux over the past few weeks between Drake and Childish Gambino. Now, it appears that Post Malone and Ty Dolla $ign's "Psycho," which has been hovering at number two for weeks now, has finally taken the top spot. With this, rap songs have led the Hot 100 chart for the past 20 weeks, solidifying the genre's status as the top music genre in America.
Additionally, Juice WRLD, who has been making gains on the chart since the release of his album Goodbye & Good Riddance, has earned his first top ten hit. His single, "Lucid Dreams," jumps from 15 to 7, after premiering at number 74.
