Gabrielle Union On 17-Year Beef With Jada Smith: It Was A "Media Creation"

Gabrielle Union & Jada Smith are all good now.
Jada Pinkett Smith is preparing her Facebook series debut called Red Table Talk that will be around "raw truth, love and deep passion." The first trailer saw Jada chatting with her husband's ex-girlfriend to get over any beef and openly discuss their lives and who they've grown to be. During a chat with ExtraJada revealed that she and Gabrielle Union haven't talked in 17-years due to a fight that she can't even remember how it was created.
Since the big reveal, Gabrielle has followed up with her side of the story on the Today Show. "Jada nor I ever used the word 'feud,' so it just became more of a media creation," she said. "Back in the day, neither one of us knows what originally took place back then, but the people that we had around us were like, 'Well, you know how she feels about you...' And then it was like, 'OK. Girl, bye.' For 17 years."
Gabrielle and Jada are now good since she was a guest on Jada's new talk show, and explained why she agreed to join. "We both felt we had too much pride and too much insecurities to just say, 'Hey, did that ever actually happen, or was that a creation of someone else who did not want to see two women rise together?'"
