Sayannah NuNu Benson Clark Funeral: Mrs. Clark Departs the World in Style

Mrs. Sayannah NuNu Benson Clark aka Lady Versace was laid to rest at 11:54 AM, September 16, 2017, in Wilmington Delaware, at Gracelawn Memorial Park.  Mrs. Clark was a loving wife to Mr. Mike Clark, aka Versace and a mother of 4.

Many traveled from far and near, to celebrate the life of a true fashion diva and say their final goodbyes.

She was loved by her family, friends and community.  People were dressed in style to celebrate the queen as Nunu was deeply into fashion.  The big boys and big girls, the Who Who's of the Liberian community, came out to pay their respect.  So many celebrities attended, to include comedian Quincy T, Shine P, Aries Air Dean, CEO of African Entertainment, Precious Lakis of Precious Pieces and many more.

Many referred to Nunu as a "true diva".  I had the opportunity to ride in the same vehicle as her husband, back to the church from the cementary.  I sat keenly in the back seat, as he narrated their love story.  He referred to her as, "my first love, my true love." He shared with us their last moment.

I had an encounter with this beautiful soul once, at the Liberian Entertainment Awards Day Party.  We sat next to each other. We danced, laughed and talked like old friends. Little did I know, she was the sister of my closed and personal friend, Mamunie Dennis.

Sayannah NuNu Benson Clark left tears in the eyes of many, but she also left smiles and laughters in their hearts as well.

She lived life.  Rest In Peace, beautiful soul.
