Paris Hilton's Engagement Ring from Chris Zylka Worth $2 Million

Paris Hilton’s romantic mountain top engagement to Chris Zylka is straight out of a fairytale. And the 20-carat ring is definitely worthy of a princess, or in this case, an heiress.

Diamond expert and celebrity jeweler Michael Greene gave PEOPLE all the details on the gigantic, pear-shaped sparkler Zylka proposed with over the weekend in Aspen.

The 20-carat center stone is set on a platinum split shank halo band which boasts another two carats of smaller diamonds and is valued at close to $2 million, according to Greene.

“Paris at one point in time told Chris she really loved her mother’s pear-shaped diamond, and when Chris came to me that was his request,” Greene told PEOPLE exclusively of the inspiration behind the design. “The pear-shaped really jumped out for him and ultimately for her. He did some fishing, but in the end it was all him. He’s a smart guy, and hangs out a lot with the family, and I think she realized how much she liked her mom’s ring.”

Hilton, 36, and Zylka, 32, have been dating for two years and are not shy about showing off their love for one another on social media. The Leftovers actor knew his bride-to-be so well that he kept the ring design process a complete secret.

“Paris was not involved. Chris did it all,” Greene said. “He wanted to do everything so perfectly. He wants the best thing for his princess. And he did all the right things. He told me he had to set up a time to meet up with Paris’ father to ask for her hand in marriage. He did the whole thing. All the traditions.”

Greene and his team designed the ring in two days, a process that would normally take three weeks.

“He wanted it before Aspen, because if the opportunity was there, which it was, he wanted to ask Paris in Aspen,” he said. “When he came to pick it up and opened up the box he literally started shaking. He said, ‘I can’t stop shaking.’ It was like taking a good size man and bringing him down to a boy size giggle. He’s a super nice guy.”

And Hilton’s reaction was worth it. She told PEOPLE of her new bling: “The ring was so gorgeous and sparkling. I was shaking as I put it on. It is the most beautiful ring that I have ever seen!”

“I am so excited to be engaged to the love of my life and my best friend,” Hilton added. “I have never felt so happy, safe and loved. He is perfect for me in every way and showed me that fairytales really do exist!”

The feeling is definitely mutual.

“Paris is the most beautiful and incredible woman both inside and out,” Zylka shared with PEOPLE. “I feel like the luckiest man in the world to be marrying my dream girl. I can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.”

'He kicked me in the stomach, I peed on myself. He body-slammed me to the floor twice and told me he would kill me, no one will find my body.: In her journey to recovery, domestic violence survivor Christine R. M. Dennis-Freeman tells it all

The tragic story of Christine R. M. Dennis-Freeman, like that of Agnes Yarlee and Diane Hart before her, has brought the issue of domestic abuse out of the dark unspoken place it thrives and into the open.
It's horrendous that it takes the death of women, or an attempt to kill women, to get a serious debate  on the issue of domestic abuse. Discussing domestic violence in our society is a real taboo and most men within the Liberian society, don't even find the topic worth their time, as compared to discussing sports, politics and corruption.
But these women mention above are just the tip of the iceberg.

Defying the odds, Mrs. Dennis-Freeman refuses to keep her mouth shut and go with the flow of the Liberian society.  She courageously sat in a wheel chair up to 1:30am, sharing her story with C Liberia Clearly.  In her own words, she walked us through the day that led to her horrific story.

Liberian-American Wilmot Collins unseats Mayor Smith - Becomes 1st Black Mayor In Montana

Wilmot Collins will be Helena’s new mayor, unseating incumbent Jim Smith in a close race Tuesday.
Collins, 54, will be the city's first new mayor in 16 years after running a long campaign based in progressive principles.
“The people of Helena have spoken, and I am honored to be able to serve them,” Collins said as the night drew to a close. “I intend to work with commissioners, work for the people of Helena and find what is best for this city.”Collins also sought to praise Smith for his work over the past decade and a half.
“I commend Mayor Smith. He’s done a great job for the city, and I hope to work with him in the future," Collins said.
At the La Pa Grill on 6th Avenue in downtown Helena, Collins and other members of the self-described “progressive ticket” watched and waited for the results of the 2017 election.
The feeling was festive as Collins received a call from U.S. Sen. Jon Tester congratulating Collins on his victory. Victory cigars were passed around the room at the …
